I am currently Head of Digital Marketing at Absa Bank. A Marketer by profession with more than 15 years’ experience having moved into Digital Marketing about 7 years ago. My experience spans across traditional & digital marketing, strategy, data analytics, ecommerce, adtech & martech, content and brand marketing.
With advanced digital marketing knowledge and expertise, I have a proven record of accomplishment in delivering superior results. I am a passionate digital marketer who is forward thinking, a creative solutionist focused on driving return on marketing investment. I am an influencer, pubic speaker and a thought leader in the industry having published numerous articles on marketing in recent years both on BizCommunity & Linkedin. Recently I have decided to amplify my efforts and just launched my own podcast called "Let’s Talk Digital”. The intent is to produce uniquely South African digital content from different viewpoints across the industry: talking to brand, marketers, agency, publisher, industry bodies and people on the ground. Besides being a member of IAB, I am also a member of MMA and hope to get more actively involved in 2020.
In my personal time, I am both a Life and Business Coach ensuring that I live my purpose and contribute to others. I love technology as it simplifies my life and continuously seek new challenges and opportunities to grow myself.

Jessica is a Digital Marketing and Data Strategist heading up digital media and performance marketing at online retailer, OneDayOnly. She has worked in the digital marketing space over the past 11 years and has come full circle in the digital marketing arena, having spent her time at media owner, agency and brand side. She has worked in a range of different organisations across multiplesectors from finance, telecommunications, FMCG, luxury brands, e-commerce to non-profits and government organisations.
Straight out of University, Jessica began her career by selling digital ad space and implementing campaigns on internet giant Yahoo! During her time at Yahoo! she gained valuable experience in campaign set-up, finding and building audiences and optimising campaigns. After Yahoo! she spent 7 years heading up and building digitalmedia and data divisions at both media and creative agencies.
Most recently, Jessica has drawn on her varied experienceto develop OneDayOnly's data-lead online strategy that focuses on full-funnel marketing efficiency rather than ROI effectiveness. She enjoys networking and connecting with other agencies, brands, and digital marketing specialists to discuss and bring forward solutions to prevalent issues.
Her vision is to lead the IAB Brand Council and its membersinto a year of Establishing Trusted Brands, and helping other brands thrive in the digital economy.
Jessica holds a B.Comm degree from Stellenbosch University and an Honours degree in Brand Building from Vega. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her family and friends.

Asha Patel is Google's Head of B2B Marketing for Sub-Saharan Africa, and Head of Marketing for South Africa. She's an innovative leader with over 17 years of experience in tech and media across emerging and developed markets.
In her nearly 11 years at Google, she's held multiple positions leading global and regional brand relationships across Finance, FMCG and Auto sectors. She spent 3 years at Google UK during which time she led global relations with advertiser Unilever, managing multiple global award-winning brand campaigns and leading industry shaping initiatives like Viewability. Prior to Google, Asha spent 4 years at Standard Bank where she established the group's web and mobile presence across 18 African markets. She spent 3 years at Primedia subsidiary, The Mobile Games Company before that.
Asha holds degrees in Informatics, Honours Cum Laude in Business Management, and Henley and Wits Business Schools certifications.
She is a passionate diversity advocate and has been recognised as one of Mail & Guardian's Top 200 Young South Africans and as a One Young World Ambassador. She is a member of the United Nation's Unstereotype Alliance, leads the Women chapter on IAB's Transformation Council and serves on the Marketing Awards and Adweek Africa's Advisory Council.
She's been a jury member of multiple awards including The Loeries Middle East and Africa, PRISM Awards, and The Bookmarks. Asha's great loves are family, and she is kept busy by her 1- and 4-year old.

Bruno is passionate about talent development, media, e-commerce and digital marketing innovation.
The bulk of Bruno’s career has been with Estee Lauder companies, where he has been privileged to work on 15 global luxury cosmetics brands for the past 20 years. Tasked to kick start the digital revolution at ELC 12 years ago, he has driven the media and advertising strategy changes allowing ELC to reposition from an ATL only company, to a digital first organisation - focused on Direct to Consumer opportunities and 1stparty data acquisition.
80 e-commerce stores later across SA and SSA, Bruno continues to support a fast-accelerating omni channel strategy across Sub Sahara Africa, whilst continuously seeking innovative and performance driven media opportunities.
