MEET PAULA HULLEY – Head of Digital & Innovation for Ogilvy CT

Who are you?
I am the Head of Digital & Innovation for Ogilvy CT, Vice Chair and Head of the Agency Council at the IAB. Passionate about achieving the impossible with amazing teams and creating connected experiences that innovate with brands & consumers in a meaningful and remarkable way. Proud Mom to Céline Fantastic and grateful to an incredible support network that partner with me to do what I love every day.
Why are you there?
I am at my best when working with diverse and inspired talent, teams, agencies, brands, companies and consumers to create meaningful and remarkable experiences – that push the boundaries of what was possible if tried alone. When working within Ogilvy’s culture and connected approach in partnering with businesses – to problem solve and create impactful solutions for both their company and their consumers – anything is possible. Our Customer Innovation SmartLab is testament to this way of working.
Why are you a part of the IAB?
Our aim at the IAB is to provide our members and larger community with a platform where we can engage and interact with each other and address digital issues of common interest, thereby stimulating learning and growth within the South African digital space. I am proud to be a part of this team, especially of my recent role with the agency council to drive digital thought leadership and capability development, maintaining guidelines and best practice white papers, trend and networking events, and assisting with awards criteria and judging selection.
The collaborative approach of each council, as well as co-operation and problem solving across the councils allows us to do just this – and hopefully to inspire and encourage our members to participate and help our industry grow from strength to strength. The success and energy at the Bookmarks Awards and Bookmarks Summit this year is testament to that, and the professional leadership and passion of the teams, as lead by our incredible CEO Josephine Buys.
