Together with our PR company the Marketing Council shares broader knowledge on the objectives, challenges and successes of the IAB, both from a global (where relevant to the South African market) and local perspective.
The digital industry is growing and evolving faster than ever, and as such it is vital that members and clients are kept up to date with the latest thinking and developments. As part of our awareness/communications campaign going into 2015, we will be planning and hosting a number of networking events, workshops and webinars to encourage greater collaboration and foster mutually beneficial partnerships to empower the media and marketing industry to thrive in the digital economy.
As the first IAB in Africa, we are perfectly positioned to showcase not only our country but also our continent on the world stage as all eyes are on this emerging market that is expected to account for a huge wave of newly connected users over the next five years. The Marketing Council will work in close collaboration with our other councils and members to ensure that the IAB SA meets its core objective of driving digital forward and ultimately increasing digital advertising spend.
